Silently dropped emails in Exchange 2007
I foolishly created a transport rule that "silently drops" some inbound emails ... and now I wantthem back .I can see them in the message tracking and I want to "restore" them to the mailboxes that they were originally destined . is this possible, I am pretty green when it comes to Exchange 07 ..

Jason, I think you are kind of toast on this one. The Hub Transportmight have those messages in the Transport Dumpster for some short period of time, but by the time you read this, the messages are gone. Plus, to get something out of the Transport Dumpster would probably require one of the developers.Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com

I guess there isn't any way to recover ordeliverit, those are simply deleted.Message tracking log keeps the information about the mails but not the original mails.Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
