Sharedmailbox and emails problems
Hello, I have a Windows Small Business 2008 with all updates from Windows update and exchange server update rollup 3. By an request of a user i've given to him access to all mailboxes of the server (add-mailboxpermission) and opened other user's mailboxes trought his outlook 2007. The problem is: a) Oulook stops receiving mail. Restarting the client resolves the issue, and the mail appear fine on OWA (The mail arrives on OWA but not on Oulook). b) If I open no more than 4 mailboxes on his outlook it appears to sync mail fine. c) Outlook is online all the time, and shows no sign of problems. I've already reinstalled Outlook 2007 and the logs don't show any problems. Some thoughs on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated PS: I'm sorry for any grammar mistakes, english is not my primary language.

So it appears that Outlook is running cached mode and stops synchronizing for some reason. What that is I can't fathom, but you might try turning off cached mode in Outlook and see if it works better for you. If that's the case, then you could proceed trying to figure out why cached mode isn't working right. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." . Hello Daniel, Just a thought but I kind of ran into a similar situation where I had to open more than one mailbox (up to 35) in Outlook on a machine, and it wouldn't display the folders for anything after the 6th or 7th mailboxes. I had to change the virtual memory settings in order to view the rest of the mailboxes. Kind of an out there solution...I think.
