Shared mailbox permissions
Hi All, I am currently tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to set read only permissions for a group of users accessing a shared mailbox and more specifically the calendar. It appears to work in that I can see the calendar and I can't add an appointment, however I keep receiving a prompt which reads "You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object. See the folder contact or your system administrator." This prompt appears when I access the calendar and also randomly when the screen is sitting there doing nothing. I'm wondering if this might be an issue with trying to update free\busy data. Interestingly enough, this only appears to be affecting Outlook 2007 users as OWA and Outlook 2010 do not display the message. Any thoughts? Cheers Andy

Hi Andy, From your description, I understand that, you has been granted the read only permission to the calendar of the shared mailbox, and you would like to add a appointment on the shared calendar, but you receive a message that you don't have sufficient permission, am I right? If I misunderstand your concern, please correct me. As per my knowledge, if you have granted reviewer permission, you can only read items, and cannot create items. If anything unclear, please feel free to let me know.
