Shared Hosting Exchange 2007
Hi all, i'm starting testing shared hosting. I've setted up the environment with multiple domain/gal and all works great.I'm facing this issue: i want to create new user with same username but different domain (example john.smith@domain1.com and john.smith@domain2.com ) infact we could have the same name for different organization.I've got an error regarding the sam-account-name already in use. Is it possible (i think so) to force the sam with more characters or the full domain name ?Thx.Bye.

AFAIK, it is not possible to add randomcharacters or domain name in SAM account automatically while creating user account if it is already exists but you may get better response if you post this in AD forum. If you are trying to create a mailbox then u can give -SAMAccountName at the time of creation. Or if u r creating an AD user then u can give it a different samAccountName too. I have written an script to get available samAccountName for an AD user. BTW exchange itself assigns an available SAMAccountName when one is already in use at the time of creation of mailbox.
