Share contacts in Office 2013

Hi,

I want to share one of my contact folder to a colleague of mine.

To do this I have followed this guide: http://www.slipstick.com/exchange/view-shared-subfolders-in-a-exchange-mailbox/.

The folder shows up correctly in Outlook, but I cannot find these contacts from my addressbook in Outlook.

When creating my own contacts, within my own Outlook, I can rigthclick the folder and check "show this folder as an addressbook for email". Why can`t I do this with shared contacts?

Hi,

It's by design that we can't add the shared contacts folder to Address Book. You can search for the address directly in the shared Contacts folder or consider putting these contacts in a Public Folder or SharePoint List you both can access.

To be able to add a Contacts folder from Public Folders to your Outlook Address Book, youll need to add it to your Public Folder Favorites.
