Share appointment with details only for attendees

Hello,

In our business, we are using Outlook Calendar (mostly 2010, some 2013) a lot to plan meetings.

In the departements, most of our employees share their calendar with eachother with full details enabled.

Though there are employees that would like to share only the availability, subject and location with each other and then share the full details only with the people they have an appointment with (the attendees of the meeting).

Is there a possibility to do this and if so, what settings should be set in the share rights?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Nils

You can change the permissions on the 'Default' user to 'LimitedDetails', and the users themselves can grant additional access rights to others as needed.

Or you want to dynamically adjust this based on whether they have some appointments in common? I don't think there is a way to do this out of the box, you will have to use some sort of a macro/add-in.

Hi Vasil,

Thanks for your reaction!

It is indeed the purpose to have the 'Default' on 'Limited Details'. Then it should indeed 'dynamically' give rights to each attendee of a meeting to only have rights to look at the full details of that specific meeting.

If someone might have an idea, it would be more than welcome!

Thanks,
Nils

Hi Nils,

I agree with Michev.
As far as I know , Exchange server cannot be so quit-witted to know which accounts are you invited, then add this one with appropriate permission.
By the way, invitee can review the details by him calendar. Why you want to add this permission on originators calendar.
