Setup an advanced mail server
Hi, I'm about to start a service where advanced forwarding rules and other mail related task is of importance. Do you recommend me setting up a server 2012 in azure and install exchange on it or is there a better way?

Hi Sunkem,

Any reason you are not going for an On-Premise or O365 account. What are the tasks you are planning.

Till now Exchange Server on Azure is not a supported scenario.

The closest thing that you can get is Using an Azure VM as a DAG Witness Server.

Its important to remember that deployment of production Exchange servers is still unsupported on Azure virtual machines, so its not yet possible to stretch a DAG into Azure. This announcement is limited to deployment of a file share witness in the Azure cloud.

Exchange 2013 virtualization

Deployment of production Exchange servers on Microsoft Azure virtual machines isn't supported. However, you can place a file server that serves as database availability group (DAG) witness server on a  Microsoft Azure VM. This server  should not have any Exchange server components installed.
