Setting up new domain on Exchange 2007 Enterprise
We currently have one domain for our company. For legal reasons we need to separate our company into 2. I want to use our existing Exchange 2007 Enterprise server to host both domains. Is there a way to do this other than buying another server. My apologies if this has been answered, i did not see it in searchJim Wick

When you say "domain" I assume you mean SMTP domain and not Active Directory domain, right? If so, you need to understand Accepted Domains which will allow you to do what you want:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124423.aspxNeil Hobson, Exchange MVP

Hi, Please let me describe the scenario. Currently you have one mailbox server and one email domain. Now you need to add another new domain to your organization and receive and send emails of both domains through old exchange server. Yes you can achieve this goal configuring Accepted domains and create Email Address policy for second domain. Please below TechNet articles. Yes, you can create second domain in Exchange and then configure them so that they look disjoint domains. Please see:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb936719.aspx I have setup multiple smtp domains in our environment using this doc. Regards,Laeeq Qazi
