Set documents Print Format

Hi Word Expert,

I have  word documents that must be printed in booklet format. is it possible to configure the document so that when I email out the document to others, it will also automatically printed as booklet format, so we don't need to always inform the recipient to print booklet format.

Thanks

To specify booklet format, choose "Book fold" in the "Multiple Pages" drop down on the Layout tab of the Page Layout dialog box. (To display the dialog box, you can double-click the upper part of the horizontal ruler or any part of the vertical ruler.)

Note that I'm not the one who suggested converting to PDF. For that to work, you will probably have to "print" to PDF using a virtual PDF printer.

You cannot preconfigure a Word document or PDF so it can only be printed in a certain way. If you choose a booklet format that requires double-sided printout, for example, but the recipient's printer can't do that, would you want them to be unable to print the document? Ultimately, the decision on how the file will be printed must remain in the hands of whoever you send it to.
