Set a maximum attendees that can accept a meeting request.
First, I'm pretty sure this can't be done, but it would be cool.

We run regular training sessions within the organization. We can only accept a maximum of 15 people in each session.

Is there a way I can just set a limit and then send out an Outlook meeting invitations for each session to everyone in the organization and fill the sessions of a first come, first served basis as people accept the meeting invitations.

We currently use Outlook 2010 on Exchange 2007 but Exchange is due for an upgrade soon.

I've had a customer ask for such a thing and after a good bit of research I had to conclude that Exchange does not support that.

I didn't think so. Thanks for that. Maybe a feature for the 2016 edition.

I'd really like this function too.

Am surprised it hasn't arrived with Exchange 2010 or newer, especially given that rooms are now proper resources. What is the point of filling in all the details including room size, if they are nothing more than text labels?

Ed, have you discovered any 3rd party app of software that could do it?

Our meeting rooms are fairly small so i wanted to send invites out to the whole firm and have them select one but we can't see how many people are attending each one, nor can they and if it goes over the limit, they don't know and neither do we as the Free/busy info doesn't reflect in the meeting request

I have the same request and have not found a simple solution. I would also be interested in a third party solution
