Set Outlook 2013 to have day increments, not minutes or hours

Hello.

I need to set up a shared calendar, with around a dozen calendars showing.  No problem there.  The shared calendar is to display engineer's bookings for the next working week and will show in Schedule View.  However the engineers work in whole days, not hours.  The maximum time increment / scale seems to be one hour.

I'd though of setting this up as an excel spreadsheet but three people need to view this concurrently and be able to add / amend /delete entries.  I've looked at using the maximum hourly interval but it involves a lot of scrolling.  plus, wehen engineers come in, they need to see the working week on a large wall display screen, rather than look over someone's shoulder and ask them to switch to Outlook and scroll, etc..

Outlook version 2010 and 2013 are involved

Any suggestions, please?

Hi,

As far as I can tell, the maximum time scale in Schedule View is 60 minutes, the setting is under VIEW tab -> Arrangement -> Time Scale. I haven't found a way to change this to one day, it's a limitation for your scenario so far.

Although the design meets the most users' needs, however it is still not perfect. Please be assured that any improvements in the product are based on users' requirements. Our developers strive to capture Microsoft users' ideas and are working hard to create a more powerful and easy-to-use product.
