Hi,I am planning to upgrade my DC's, ED2K7 to SP2 etc. Please find below the present setupDC1 - W2K8 SP1DC2 - W2K8 SP1E2K7 - W2K3 SP2 /E2K7 SP1 RU9 (Running CAS, UM, HT, Mailbox on a single server)E2K7 - W2K3 SP2 /E2K7 SP1 RU9 (Running EDGE on a different server in DMZ)File server - W2K8 SP1I am planning to upgrade DC's to W2K8 SP2 or R2, E2K7 to SP2 on W2K3 itself, File server to W2K8 SP2 or R2.What is the suggested upgrade path?. Should I upgrade DC's to W2K8 SP2 or R2?Should I upgrade the DC's before E2K7 upgrade to SP2?Do you forsee any issue?Appreicate any helpLiby

Just a few notes. I would do Exchange 2007 to SP2 first before making changes to AD. This will get you on the latest version and the most compatabile. As for upgrading the DCs, R2 is a whole new OS, similar to 2003 to 2008. It is not like 2003 to 2003 R2. So if you are going to implement new DCs, I would suggest going to the latest level of 2008 R2. Thanks MArk.I was stuck at this decision making. You made my life easier. Any precaution / issues forseen during the upgrade of Exchange or DC.Which server in exchange should i upgrade first? Edge server or mailbox server considering that I have an edge server and all other roles on a single server.
