Server licence
We want to purchase one license of Microsoft Visio 2013 pro.
Is it possible to install the software locally on a desktop and retrieve the license from a server.
Or you can install the software on the server and then use the software?
There can create one user at a time using the software.
We are using Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.

Hi,

Not quite sure if I've understood you correctly. Do you mean Visio Pro for Office 365 by "Microsoft Visio 2013 pro"?

Are you trying to install it on Windows server with Remote Desktop Services (RDS), then connect to the remote computer to use it? If this is the case, you can use shared computer activation to accomplish this, Visio Pro for Office 365 is supported on a shared computer.

Here is the reference you'll need: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn782860.aspx

If I've misunderstood anything, please feel free to let me know.
