I have recently purchased a Macbook, and I want to sync my hotmail accounts to the mail program on Mac, using Microsoft Exchange. This worked perfectly on my iPhone and iPad, but somehow the Mac asks for a server address for MS Exc. Does anyone know the correct address?

If you are using MS Exchange account on hotmail, it is better for you to ask on hotmail forum.

Based on my knowledge, if you are configure ms Exchange account, you can just use autodiscover to help you configure the accountno need to know the server address.
