Server 2003 R2 best practices for use with SharePoint Services 3.0
I am looking for good documentation on the best practices to use when preparing a Windows Server 2003 R2 for use with SharePoint Services 3.0. More specifically I am looking for recommendations on drive partitioning, RAID, and how to install the OS and WID (seperate drives, etc). This will be one more node in the ever growing University of Florida AD structure. I have found some documetation on the minimum and recommended hardware/software requirements but nothing that says I recommend that you prepare your drives like this and use a specific RAID setup to optimize performance and backup. Thank you.
