Server 2000 to 2003 Upgrade Problem, HELP!!!!
I recently upgraded 2 servers from 2000 to 2003.The upgrades went without any errors. They are also fully patched.Problem is, every 2 - 3 days, the servers become unresponsive. No ping, no browse, etc....When i go over to the servers, everything seems ok.Only way to resolve is to restart them and then restart every 2-3 days to make sure they're functional.Has anyone else experienced this? Here are the first events logged when it happens:Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: UserenvEvent Category: NoneEvent ID: 1053Date: 3/29/2008Time: 4:48:14 PMUser: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEMComputer: PCI-02Description:Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. Hi,
You have a memory leak on the server. Make sure that all applications installed on the server is fully patched and start troubleshooting the memory leak after that.
