Sent email on managed box not being place in managed sent folder using Outlook 2007

Hello, I have a user who is managing another mailbox in Outlook 2007. When she sends an email the email is saved in her user sent box and not the managed sent box.

I followed this KB article and it did not solve the issue.

I created the dword registry with the value of 1 as suggested and it did not work. The weird thing is that fix worked when I tested it on my workstation but not the user/client.

Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

Before adding the registry value, first we need to install the following hotfix package:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/970944/

This is stated in the KB article you attached. Since you didn't mention it, I'd like to know if the user have above hotfix package installed. If not, please install it and then add the registry value to see the result.

Updating Outlook to SP3 seem to solve the problem. Afterwards the Hotfix I tried to apply was able to install.I will Mark Steve's post as the answer since I'm almost positive the hotfix he mentioned was in the Service pack.
