Sensitive Word List - Content Filter

Hi All

I am hoping someone will be able to shed some light on an issue i am experiencing.

I have enabled (Selected ON) the sensitive word list on the content filter within Exchange for my o365 subscription, however without knowing the exact words that are in the list, I have tested with some words that I'd expect to cause the email to be marked as spam however they still come through. Is there something else I should be doing?

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your question.

Sensitive word list could not be edited. so we couldnt  send test email with our expect words.

To ensure that spam is being properly detected and acted upon, we could send a GTUBE message through the service. Similar to the EICAR antivirus test file, GTUBE provides a test by which we could verify that the service is detecting incoming spam. A GTUBE message should always be detected as spam by the content filter, and the actions that are performed upon the message should match our configured settings.

Include the following GTUBE text in a mail message on a single line, without any spaces or line breaks:

XJS*C4JDBQADN1.NSBN3*2IDNEN*GTUBE-STANDARD-ANTI-UBE-TEST-EMAIL*C.34X

We could refer to the following links to configure content filter policies:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj200684(v=exchg.150).aspx

we could refer to the following link to learn about Advanced Spam Filtering Options:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj200750(v=exchg.150).aspx

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim

Hi Jim

Thats fine but there are some obvious words that should be on any list. Parts of the human body for example.

I'm not so concerned about knowing what is on the list more being sure that it is working, which I don't believe it is.

Regards

Alex.
