Sending mail to all staff
Hi, i got a request from my Manager that Only Executive managers need to be able to send mails to All staff. we already got 2 DL's "All Staff" for all employees, "CS All Staff" Employees of One perticular Area. but with these DL's all the members can also send mails to all employees. I want to Create 2 DL's "AllCorporateStaff" and "AllASStaff". these DL's should allow only 4 Executive managers to send emails. i have created these DL's in AD. in Exchange do i need to create User Mail box or Distrubution Mail Box. if i create Distrubution Mail Box i don't get Send as option as it is only available to User MailBox. please Advise. thank you krishna Krishna Gummadapu

Hi Krishna, If you create the DLs in AD, you need to mail enable them. Mail-Enable or Mail-Disable a Distribution Group http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997448.aspx After that, you can follow ManU's suggestion to set the Message Delivery restrictions on the DLS.
