Sending as another account, NOT on Exchange or AD.
Hey guys,I have a little conundrum that has got me a little stumped. One of my clients has an outside pop account and domain that he would like to send mail out as in Outlook. He doesn't want to intergrate that domain into his current domain, with good reason. It is a separate entity from his current company. The mail is forwarded to his exchange account, but when he send, it sends out as what he has in AD.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Craig

You want to be able to send NOT as the Exchange domain? You'd have to use seperate profiles in outlook and relaunch the app every time you want to switch. Or use Identies in outlook express.

I would like to be able to send as another domain. So there is no other way to do this?

Not with Outlook. Other POP clients can do it though.

Alternatively he can try to use this third-party utility: http://www.ivasoft.com/choosefrom.shtml Regards, Victor Ivanidze
