Send email notification to home address upon reciept of corporate email
I have an executive asking for the following functionality from our Exchange 2007 envirionment. When a user receives an email at their corporate address (john.doe@company.com) he would like Exchange to send a new email message to a secondary address (john.doe@home.com) that says something like“Your corporate email system received a message”. Basically he just wants his home email to be notified when he gets corporate email. He does not want to forward the original message just send a reminder to a secondary address. Is this possible?

Hi Transport Rules can be used, but why not give him the opportunity to use Active Sync and/or OWA so he can check the mail anytime he wants? Jonas Andersson | Microsoft Community Contributor Award 2011 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog | Follow me on twitter: jonand82

Also, RPC over HTTP is a good choice if we only download the message header. Let me know if you have any other questions on this thread, thanks.
