Send connectors (SMTP connector) in Exchange 2003
Hi all, I got a question. Im supposed to send mail from an exhacnge 2003 organization to an SMTP server (another mail domain *@org2.com) outside our organization (forest), but i cant use the MX records (for some reason). So i got a question, if id set up a SMTP connector would this link be enough http://support.microsoft.com/kb/265293 . If im not mistaking im just suppsed to set a SMTP connector and relay messages for *@org.com domain, and in the advance tab set up the smart host as the SMTP server of that other organization (with no authetification). Im hope Im not overlooking something. Tnx

hi ZarkoC, In fact you want use a smarthost to relay the message from the exchange, right? So configure the address of the Smarthost, it would be work.
