Send as shared mailbox in Office 365 and store sent items in shared mailbox

Since the new feature was activated for the shared Office 365 mailboxes we were glad to hear about it.

We activated these settings via remote powershell on Office 365 for the shared mailbox, but the emails are still stored in the users mailbox, not in the shared mailbox, what are we missing or what else do we have to configure?

Hi,

Would you please provide more details about the issue? What settings have you activated?

If you mean Registry key settings, please logon the client to make sure they have been applied.

We tried the registry keys, but they didn't work, since you need to configure outlook cache mode for this feature and with office 365 on a terminal server that's not possible.

We created a shared mailbox, set the permissions for our users, full access and send as.

Then we connected via remote powershell on our Office 365 Account and ran the following commands:

set-mailbox <our_shared_mailbox> -MessageCopyForSentAsEnabled $True

set-mailbox <our_shared_mailbox> -MessageCopyForSendOnBehalfEnabled $True

We checked the state of this shared mailbox and these two parameters were set to true, but unfortunalety it didn't worked as well as hoped.

Does anybody got a solution or workaround for this problem?
