Send a copy of outgoing emails to the manager or Auto copy for outgoing email in Exchange 2007
I have Windows 2003 R2 and Exchange 2007 Server. In my exchange I have a set of distribution lists, one for each department. For example, for the IT Department I have a distribution list calld It_Dept, and it containes 5 users, one of these users
is the head of the department. what I want is that whenever anyone of the users sends an email, i want a copy of that email to be sent to the head of the department too. Is there a way to make that?
In other words,
I just would like to setup auto copy outgoing email of all mailbox to another mailbox?
For example, all emails sent by user A, the email be delivered to user B automatically. But the user A does not know that the email is copied to user B.
Any help would be highly appreciated.Mohd Mahtab Alam

Hi,
Based on your description, I understand that you want the head of It_Dept will receive a copy of the e-mail which the members of his group send
to others. If I misunderstand your concern, please let me know.
You can organize a transport rule to achieve your goal:
Condition: choose from a member
of distribution list, and then choose the distribution group It_Dept.
Action: Blind carbon copy the
message to address, choose the head of the group.
Exceptions: choose except when
the message is from people, and then choose the lead of the group.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Serena
