Second Exchange 2003 Global Address Book
Hello everyone. I may be posting this question in the wrong area, so I do apologize in advance. I am having problems creating a second Global Address List for my users. I want to keep the Default Global Address list for a group of my users, and create a second list for another group of my users. I already created a second GALusing the exchange system manager. Then, as according to everythingI have readso far, I denied access to the default GAL, and grantedusers access to the one that I had created. The original GAL still shows up and can be accessed through Outlook, while the second cannot even be seen.I think that Outlook is using the Offline address book since it is being denied access to the GAL on the server. How do I disable this? The articles I have read so far do not make sense, or are not detailed enough. If I am going down the wrong path with this please steer me in the right direction. Thanks for your help in advance.

Thank you for the articles. They are helping me move in the right direction, althoughI am still not getting it.I tried, as a test, making a new GAL that was named TEST. I only gave myself permission to veiw it, I also made an OAL named TEST, and only gave myself permission to veiw it. Then I denied myself all permission to both the default GAL, and the default OAL .I can still see the default address list in outlook, and cannot see the TEST GAL. Any suggestions?
