Searching the entire mailbox bring up less results than searching current folder.
We are running Outlook 2013 (office professional 32bit), and since we upgraded from Outlook 2010, we have an issue where searching the entire mailbox does not bring back older emails. If I run the same search and limit it to just that folder, the items come up (but obviously this only helps if the user knows which folder to find their email in). We have always run off an exchange server (moved from 2010 to 2013 this year), and never had our users set up in cached exchange mode. It seems a lot of the solutions I find relate to running in cached exchange mode, but we never had to do that in previous versions of Outlook (and it actually causes us issues in our business environment). We have the issue on multiple PC running windows 7 64bit and on our Citrix servers.  Since we aren't running cached mode, I don't know if the indexer should even work, but If I click on Search Tools- Indexing status, it just forever says 'loading' and never opens anything up.  When I type in Indexing options in my start menu, it shows me that outlook is in there. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Please check this issue in OWA. And I suggest to check the status of content index.

Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus -Server Server Name | Format-Table Name,Status,ContentIndex* -Auto
