When we search our public folders from OWA results are generated with int 2 seconds. When we search the same public folder in Outlook 2007 we get a balloon indicating that outlook is trying to retrieve data from exchange and it takes around 20 seconds to get a result.Is there anything we can do to fix this?

If the Outlook client is in cache mode, you could add the pf as a favorite and verify that Public Folder Favorites are cached per instructions here:http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP012329401033.aspx
