Search of entire Exchange 2007 server for certain items
I have a client who is looking to search his entire Exchange server for emails with certain content, could someone recommend the best method for doing this?

well you can't . You will need to use 3rd party application unless you have configured the journaling in exchange.

about 20-30 mailboxes

Then i would not recommend you investing this much for just 30 mailboxes. youmay have to do it manually. what you can do it export all the mailboxes and make PST for each of them. Then setup a new mailbox and import all the PST to that single mailbox. Then do the full search on this. And now onwards - setup another mailbox call Journal Mailbox and and have all the new mail messages copy to this new mailbox. http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Exchange-Server-2007-Using-Journaling-Rules.html
