Search Indexing is not working in OWA Exchange 2007
I am having a problem with the search indexing not working in Exchange 2007. This is manifested when trying to search within folders in Outlook Web Access using Internet Explorer 8 no results are returned and there is no error message. I have tried all of the Knowledge base articles I could find and none of them resolved the issues.I have rebuilt the catalogs both manually and automatically. "ResetSearchIndex.ps1 -force -all" and stopping the MSExchangeSearch service and deleting the catalog files and then restarting the serviceI have unistalled and reinstalled the MsExchangeSearch service.I have verified that the Microsoft.Exchange.Search.ExSearch.exe and MSFTE.dll are in the C:\program files\microsoft\exchange\bin directoryI have verified that the MSExchangeSearch service is installed and running.I have checked the event log and noted that the Search service started and completed a full crawl of all databases but the Catalog directories only contain a few kilobytes.I have checked the perfmon counters for the full crawl status for each database and it set to "0"I have verified that each database is enabled for text searches using "Set-MailboxDatabase "Mailbox Database" -IndexEnabled". This command runs successfully but returns a message that search is already enabled on each database and no changes were madeI have run the "Test-ExchangeSearch -Identity <user-Nname>@structint.com" command and it fails for ever mailbox tested. The Exchange server is running on Windows Server 2008 64 and is fully service packed (E2K7 SP2) and up to date with post service pack 2 updates.Anyone have any ideas?
