Scheduling email collection from remote mailboxes
Our local office server (office.contoso.com) collects incoming emails from mailboxes on a remote host (mail.contoso.com) hosted by our webhost. During a recent week-end migration from SBS2003 to SBS2007 the POP3 connection schedule on the SBS2003 box was suspended for Saturdays and Sundays, so that mail would not be collected over that weekend while the migration was afoot. Now the migration is complete, the new SBS2007 box has inherited that schedule. We want to collect emails on Saturdays and Sundays again but we cannot locate the schedule in ExchangeMC nor how to change it. Where has it gone? Helporamissimo!

if the mails are alreday delivered to the mailboxes on sat/sun then they woudl not be deleivered to mail.contoso.com. You can either run exmerge on office .contoso.com and collect mails in pst for sat/sun run some rule on mailboxes. or track the messagetracking logs for sat/sun

Manage POP3 mailboxes by using the Windows Small Business Server POP3 Connector properties page. On the Accounts tab, you can add, edit, or remove POP3 mailboxes. On the Scheduling tab, you can define a schedule for retrieving POP3 e-mail, which enables you to retrieve POP3 e-mail immediately. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc546479(WS.10).aspx How to Configure SBS 2008 to Host POP3/IMAP4 http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2008/09/19/how-to-configure-sbs-2008-to-host-pop3-imap4.aspx If it doesn’t work, you can go to SBS forum to ask for details http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/smallbusinessserver/threads
