Scheduling FREE/BUSY information unavailable
Hello, we are currently using Exhcange 2003 and Outlook 2003 as the client. We just started experiencing an issue with our calendar scheduling free/busy information. Everyone's schedules appear normally (busy/tentative,out of office" up to July 31, 2008. The problem, everything "AFTER" August 1, 2008 appears on the scheduler as "No Information". We do not see any user or resource's free/busy information starting at Aug 1. It just appears as a slashed out grey bar. I just created an appointment, invited a handful of employees and am looking at the free/busy schedule now. Everyone's schedules are visible up to July 31. Every one appears as the slashed "No Information" bar after Aug 1. This is a global problem. It is happening on "ALL" of my outlook clients and it occurs for "ALL" user's and resources. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, Please understand that the Outlook is responsibility to publish and retrieve Free/Busy message to/from Public Folder (Schedule + Free Busy folder). Thus, would you please let me know? 1. How many Exchange Servers (including the Public Folder (Schedule + Free Busy folder)) exist in the organization and please let me know their topology (same Route Group? same Administrative Group?) 2. What operations you have performed before the issue occurs? 3. Please help me gather the Exbpa report: ExBPA Report ================= The Microsoft Exchange Server Best Practices Analyzer Tool (ExBPA) is a tool which automatically examines an Exchange Server deployment and determines if the configuration is set according to Microsoft best practices. We strongly encourage you to use this tool to examine your Exchange servers. 1. Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 on a client computer from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&DisplayLang=en Note If you have already installed Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, skip this step. 2. Download and install Exchange Server Best Practices Analyzer Tool from this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=DBAB201F-4BEE-4943-AC22-E2DDBD258DF3&displaylang=en 3. Log on the computer as Domain Administrator. 4. Click Start, and then click Run. 5. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK. 6. In the command window, locate the directory where Exchange Server Best Practices Analyzer Tool is installed. By default, the directory is C:\Program Files\ExBPA. 7. Type exbpacmd.exe in the command line; and ExBPA begins to examine the server deployment and configuration. 8. Wait until ExBPA finishes its examination and shows you the directory where the output xml and log files are located. 9. Copy the output xml and log files and send to me at v-mishen@microsoft.com. The Free/Busy information is stored in a System public folder. Did you recently shut down an old public folder server? In Exchange System Manager, find the Public Folders contain, right click on the properties and show the system folders. Look for the Free/Busy folders and display the properies. Make sure that the free/busy folders have at least one replica server on which they live.
