Saving incoming attachments to disk in Exchange 2007 (can you recommend 3rd party s/ware?)
I have an environment with a single Exchange 2007 server (up to date with all latest rollups and service packs) running on Windows Server 2003 (also right up to date). We are currently using 3rd party software client-side with Outlook 2003 to process incoming emails for selected mailboxes, stripping off their attachments and saving to nominated directories.I would prefer to see this functionality run server-side, so it does not depend on the users being logged in and running Outlook.Interested in people who have attempted similar things. What 3rd party software did you use? Did it work well for you? Or did you write your own software to plug in to Exchange 2007 ...I know there are a number of server-side solutions readily available, so am looking for a heads up on what works well (or what doesn't work well).*** also wondering why this functionality isn't built in to the standard rules processing options?! I would have thought it was quite obviously a useful function to have as part of the core functionality of Outlook+Exchange

So far the best looking utility I have found is from MAPILabs:http://www.mapilab.com/exchange/rules/list.htmlDoes anyone have experience with this software, or maybe can offer a cheaper alternative?

I too am looking for a solution and also found http://www.mapilab.com/exchange/rules/list.html but this DOES NOT work with Exchange 2007 "Pay your attention MAPILab Rules is not compatible with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010, but we offer some other solutions for Exchange Server 2007/2010 which cover some of required features.". As for their other solution I'm just looking into it. Please let me know if you come up with anything else. Thanks, John
