Same domain, accounts in different servers
Hi!I need to split some mail accounts in two different servers, where one is a 2007 Exchange server and the other is an external solution. I need to define mail transport for a few accounts. Is it possible? How can I do it?

HI,Per my Knowledge you cannot route external emails via Hub transport server. Hub transport server is responsible only for route emails within Exchange organization. But You can route emails of other servers using Edge transport server as a SmartHost.Regards Chinthaka

If I understood correctly you need to keep certain mailboxes for *@yourdomain.com on Exchange server while some on another external solution. You need to change the default accepted domain from authoritativeto internal relay domain and create the Send Connector to route mails for *.yourdomain.com to smarthost of external messaging solution in your Exchange environment. Refer below guide for further step by step instructions...
