STOREDRV Error message for a single user
I am running exchange 2007 enterprise. I have one server with all roles except unified messaging. I have one user that is having difficulty receiving emails. Upon inspection of the mail queue I see that messages are in a retry state with the error "430 4.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:MapiExceptionJetErrorRecordDeleted" This problem does not appear to happen to any other user. This error is impeding mail flow into the user's mailbox both from the internet and from other internal users. Does anyone have any thoughts? We are running Exchange 2007 version 08.01.0436.000 Thanks, Patrick

Can you move the mailbox to another store?

Unfortunately we only have one mailbox store, so cannot move it.

So I just "disabled" the account (removed exchange properties from the user's AD account) and re-connected the mailbox. Mail seems to be flowing normally now.

Okay, so this problem is not resolved as I stated above, it seems that sometimes the user is able to receive mail, and other times not. I notice that this applies regardless of the sender is internal or external.

Hello Patrick, I am having the same issue here with one user as well, I just started investigating this a few hours ago. it is strange, I sent an email to a distribution group, and I ended up getting an email back a short while later saying that the message couldn't be delivered. We too are very interested in getting this resolved, if I happen to find a solution I will post and let you know. One possible option right now seems to be backing up the users mailbox, deleting the account and than recreating it, but this is not my solution of choice. Good Luck, hopefully we can get this fixed. Peter.

Hello Peter, Last night I rebooted the Exchange server, and mail has been flowing normally today. I am going to keep tabs on it for a few days to see if the situation comes back. -Patrick

Funny, I was just thinking about that, it has been quite some time since I did a reboot on that particular server. If only this issue was consistent, we could tell for sure if it is fixed. Thank you for the update, I will do the same this evening and will post my results. Have a great day. Peter.

So I went ahead and exported the mailbox in question to a PST file using the powershell commands on my exchange server. I then deleted the mailbox, re-created the mailbox, then imported the user's data back in. So far it is working, but we will see for sure on Monday.
