SSL Certificates - What entries do I need

We currently have exchange 2003 and have are migrating to Office 365 via a 2010 hybrid server. I understand that we need a SAN certificate for SSL but I'm not 100% on what to put in the CSR under echange 2010

So far I have : autodiscover.domain.com,mail.domain.com,legacy.domain.com,hybrid.domain.com

I've seen talk that i need internal URL's in this as well? the outside DNS is domain.com the internal DNS in somethingelse.internal

any help to clear up my confusion would be great.

thanks

Hi

Are you going to use Outlook Anywhere? Generally you would have you name for your autodiscover, owa, ecp and activesync URL's.

You can use mail.domain.com for owa,ecp and activesync and autodiscover.domain.com, if you have legacy exchange then the legacy name as well.

Thanks so if i undertand this correctly I can have a San with the following

Autodiscover.domain.com (for autodiscover)
mail.domain.com (owa, ecp, activesync)
legacy.domain.com (for current 2003 exchange being replaced by 2010)
Hybrid.domain.com (for the migration to office 365)

and yes outlook anywhere maybe used in furture. Can that just use mail.domain.com ?

Is that correct ? many thanks in advanced

Hi,

Agree with Ed (DareDevil57)'s suggestion, we can set the internal URL with the same namespace (mail.domain.com) as external URLs for owa, ecp, activesync, EWS service in Exchange 2010.

For Exchange 2013, we can use legacy.domain.com for Exchange 2003 URLs.

Regards,
