SQL Data Storage
I have a big problem explaining how useful File groups are in SQL.If i have a database say called Payroll and i create Three File groups. If i back up one of the file groups,How do i know what i am backing up & When i restore what will have restored? Again in SQL you have .mdb and .ndf location of storage locations. How is data stored,Does it fill up the .mdb then .ndf? or data is written across them? Thanks Systems Admin-Kenya
