SP3 install fails
Hi
New sbs2008/exchange2007 install.
When installing SP3 I get the error;
Unified Messaging Server Role
Failed
Error:
Opening package 'C:\Downloads\Exchange SP3\Setup\ServerRoles\UnifiedMessaging\es.MSI' failed. The system cannot find the path specified. Error code is 3.
The system cannot find the path specified
Even though the file es.MSI exists. I then try to uninstall Unified Messaging Server Role by running Exchange
2007 Setup and I get the error
Unified Messaging Server Role
Failed
Error:
Setup previously failed while performing the action "BuildToBuildUpgrade". You cannot resume setup by performing the action "Uninstall".
I am stuck on an Exchange which is now part SP3. How can I move forward from here? I don't mind getting rid of
Unified Messaging Server Role as we don't need it.
Thanks

As Mhussain mentioned, Unified Communication is not recommended to install for Small Business Server. For more information, please refer to the following article:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sbs/cc817589.aspx
Since we only discuss the Exchange issue on the pure Exchange product environment in this forum, I suggest you also create a new thread in the SBS forum to get more
information. Please understand that SBS Server has integrated all functionalities on a single box which will require the SBS related knowledge which we do not have enough resource. Thank you for your understanding.
For your reference, I have enclosed the SBS forum link below:

Thanks.
