Hi, We are using Exchange 2003. We have a lot of software and application that required admin group to receive any update and notification from system. We are not having problem to send notification to internal user. The problem happend when we tried to send notification to external email such as gmail etc. Any configuration need to done at exch level. Please help. Thank you.jaie

You should probably (according to your explanation) enable anonymous relaying for specific hosts. Specific host referred to the system which holds software or application which is trying to relay emails through your exchange server. You don't need to enable SMTP at host that run the software of Application. You can use that option if you don't want to relay emails to extranal domain from your exchange server You dont need any configuration at host.
