I'd create another Receive Connector and allow anonymous users on the
"Permission Groups" tab. As long as the IP address it listens on isn't
exposed to the Internet it's generally safe. You can add another level
of protection by restricting the set of IP addresses on the "Network"
tab to only the IP addresses of the machines on your LAN.

You can use "LOGIN" if the only authentication type your server
advertises is "NTLM". :-)

Hmmm . . . that "can" should, of course, have been "can't". How
embarrassing. :-(

Normaly I am in an environment where the SMTP settings are just provided for me. I now do not have that luxury.
That being said I walked through the default setup for exchange 2012. I can send mail back and forth with outlook to all my domain users " I created mailboxes for them nothing else! " I now want to use my SQL RS and leverage mail with reports in
SCCM 2007.
My Exchange server is named "\\exchange" and the
FQDM is "Exchange.Mydomain.com" Of
corse
thats not the real domain name but you get the just.
What settings do I use in "E-mail SMTP settings" IE: "Sender Address" and "SMTP Server" is the SMTP Server my
FQDM of my exchange box?

Do I need to configure my exchange server any differently for this use than a typical step by step default install?
