SMTP;552 Requested mail action aborted, Exceeded storage allocation
I have a sales rep that is getting this error when contacting a customer. After some testing on my end I notice that if I send a 1'st run e-mail to the customer it goes through fine, They reply and it works fine but when I try to Reply to the Reply I get
this error as well. It's as if something within their e-mail/reply to my first e-mail causes this error. This leads me to believe the problem is on their end. My question is what could be causing this? and what can I tell them to look into to resolve this
problem?
Also This happens with any address in the customers domain.

It's pretty much an issue on their end. You can email their
postmaster@domain.com to have them check (if their monitoring this mailbox) or just ask the user when the initial email comes through to have him ask his admin.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

What, if anything, can I point out to them to avoid the "no it's obviously your end, we don't have this problem with any one else blah blah blah"? Anything I can suggest they check?
Thanks!!!

If you send them the bounce message that shows that their server is issuing the bounce message then the onus is on them to understand why and if it is expected to then explain why they are rejecting the message from you. This is the usual professional
courtesy/understanding among messaging administrators (however like most understandings/courtesy agreements not everyone plays by the rules...)

Thanks Folks, I wish there was more of a definitive answer for this problem because I know my MIS crew and I are going to end up doing the troubleshooting for this customers MIS team. If anyone else has any insight into this please feel free to let me know.
Thanks again!

Hi Madmikee72,
Because that I do not know the scenario about your side and the other side. Could you please post more information about it?
Per the error, it maybe caused by many reasons, your side or the other side.
Some information for you:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254921
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944281
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885419
If your side has no issue with other domain, it mostly due to the recipient's side issue, let them check the mailbox size, the firewall rule about the message size limiation, the mailbox size limitation and so on.
