SBS web applications authentication - errors
I get frequest 401 errors for all services running under "SBS Web applications". What are the correct settings for authentication for the subsites? (OWA, OAB, EWS etc). In my setup, basic and windows authentication is used (out of the box). OWA works when the users enter their pass, but all other services fail (scheduling, out of office, EWS etc) I got autodiscovery to work, and got this information Display name: <my name> Protocol: Exchange RPC Server: SBS.mydomain.local Login name: <my username> Availabiliy service: https://remote.mydomain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx OOF URL: https://remote.mydomain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx OAB URL: https://remote.mydomain.com/OAB/<GUID>/ Unified Message Service URL: https://remote.mydomain.com/UnifiedMessaging/Service.asmx Auth Package: Unspecified Protocol: Exchange HTTP Server: remote.mydomain.com Login name: <my username> SSL: Yes Mutual Authentication: Yes Availabiliy service: https://remote.mydomain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx OOF URL: https://remote.mydomain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx OAB URL: https://remote.mydomain.com/OAB/<GUID>/ Unified Message Service URL: https://remote.mydomain.com/UnifiedMessaging/Service.asmx Auth Package: Basic Certificate Principal Name: msstd:remote.mydomain.com Could the RPC server name be the culprit (internal name) Thanks for your help!
