SBS Exchange 2003 SP2 - Local Delivery Failure
I had an issue today where after a reboot, local mail delivery failed. Mail was accepted successfully and in the case of it being forwarded this worked fine as well. Escalated all logging features to maximum, no error reported. Dismounted store and ran integrity check and defrag, no issues. Checked to see if it was user specific was affecting all users. Fix was to reboot server. Now I want peace of mind. What else could I have tried or what else should i look at. I would like to know what happened. Thanks Jeremy

You could have resrted the System attendent and AD topology service. I am sure that could have resolved the issue. Looks like the directory look up failed for a while.Raj

Hi, Did you check the queues and if the messages were stuck in the LDQ? And in the Event Viewer if there were any Event ID:327 ? Regards, Raghav
