SBS 2011 exchange server on 2008 standard network
I'm currently in the process of upgrading our network to 2008 server standard, but have one hiccup. We used pop3 for our email service. The question is could I create my network using 2008 server, but have a 2011 sbs server as my exchange server? what limitations would i come across if i tried to do so? Could someone provide my with a link to the literature on this? Thanks! Joe

I probably should have made myself a bit more clear. The network itself will be windows server 2008 standard. Not SBS. I am only considering deploying 1 sbs server to host exchange.

There should be any issues, not sure what other services you will be ruuning on your network but some info below if it's relevant http://www.microsoft.com/sbs/en/us/overview.aspx You can always post on the SBS Forum - http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/sbsserverSukh
