SBS 2008 with pop3 connector has invalid header errors
I just upgraded to SBS 2008. We use the pop3 connector to retrieve emails from a pop server out on the internet. The problem we are having is the pop3 connector gets invalid header errors and will eventually stop downloading mail until I go in and delete the oldest 5 emails from the pop server. I have noticed that the only emails that will not downlaod and email the originate from a subdomain..for ex. anyuser@subdomain.domain.com. All emails from the normal domain.com come through, but once 5 emails with a subdomain come in, it stops the entire process. I have dug all over the internet and found a couple of things to try, but they have not worked. One of them increases the 5 bad email limit to 500. This doesn't solve the problem because the emails that are being rejected are legitimate emails that we need to receive. If anybody has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it.

Asking your question in a SBS forum would be a good idea. That POP connector isn't part of Exchange. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
