SBS 2008 with Exchange 2007 SP1 with Outlook Anywhere enabled crashes when setting up RPC-Over-Http on client computers.
Every time I configure a client computer with either Outlook 2003 or 2007 using RPC-Over-Http, my SBS 2008 (64-bit) running Exchange 2007 SP1 freezes to a halt i always had to manually reboot it to bring it back up. TCP/IPV6 is also enabled on this server, one out of 4 embedded network cards is enabled and use, the rest are disabled.

Is probelm also with Outlook MAPI connectio or only with outlook anywhere. Are you getting password prompt for connection. There is one issue which is fixed in ROLL 4 for SP1. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950138/en-us Please see event log in server and share.Anil

Outlook MAPI works fine, it is only happening with Outlook Anywhere.

try to disable TCP/IPV6 to see if it helps and reboot your server. As I remember, there are some issues with CAS - Windows 2008 -IP 6.

Hi, Have you checked the application logs? Is there any error relating to this problem?
