SBS 2008 w/ Exchange 2007 - Add secondary domain
Hi Folk, Company has 2 domains, <company>.com.au and <company>.com. SBS is configured using the external domain wizard to <company>.com.au which carries 99.9% of the traffic, but we want Exchange to accept mail for <company>.com and deliver it to the same users as .com.au. mx records have been updated in .com to point to the .com.au server. In Hub Transport I added the .com domain as an Authorative Domain. In E-Mail Address Policies I added a 2nd (3rd) rule for .com, duplicating the auto created rule for .com.au, as all recipients etc etc. Server is rejecting mail as #550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found ## Can someone please tell me what I'm missing? Thanks!

OK I fixed it: I had created a separate email address policy that became priority 2. It appears that a contact only receives the e-mail addresses for the highest priority rule that it matches. When I added the new domain to the existing SBS default policy and reapplied it, all was hunky dory. Starting to get the hang of Exchange 2007 - Finially! Thanks!
