SBS 2003 SP2 store dismounts despite registry change
I have a client that we installed a SBS 2003 R2 server for. Their Priv1 files total's about 30.5 gigs; I updated the registry to add "Database Size Limit in GB" as dictated at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/6c4ce7bb-5289-4221-a87c-b9c78ab7c09c.aspx Yet the store dismounts. I've tried setting different values to no avail. I still see: Event Type:ErrorEvent Source:MSExchangeIS Mailbox StoreEvent Category:General Event ID:9690Date:7/28/2007Time:5:00:40 AMUser:N/AComputer:SERVER-SBSDescription:Exchange store 'First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (SERVER-SBS)': The logical size of this database (the logical size equals the physical size of the .edb file and the .stm file minus the logical free space in each) is 23 GB. This database size has exceeded the size limit of 18 GB. This database will be dismounted immediately. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp. I've deleted the key and recreated it as well... copied and pasted into and out of notepad so that it was exact and there were no invisible characters that might affect it. Getting tired of logging in every other morning to remount the store.... I can't find anything else out there that suggests anyone else has had this problem, but I'm wondering if anyone else has heard about /seen anything like this.

Tracy, which Registry key are you creating the "Database Size Limit in GB" key? Are you creating it in the private information store's GUID key? I have seen it created in the wrong key before is the reason I'm asking.

Sorry for the delay. The registry key had been created in the correct area. I tried removing and recreating it a second time (third time creating it... third time was the charm) and for some reason it took that time... I'm not complaining. It's been a week and no dismounts since.
