SBS 2003 SP2 messages stuck in exchange
I have a SBS 2003 SP2 server, I am running exchange. I just started to have a problem that the messages are stuck in the queues. We have not made any changes to the network or configuration. The stuck messages are in the default SMTP virtual server. I have tried to freeze all the messages then try one at a time but noting goes out. I have made sure all the exchange services are running. Any ideas let me know thanks.

Hi, you should try and see if you are blacklisted on dnsbl, here is a link: http://www.dnsbl.info/ Also check on sorbs: http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml /MartinExchange is a passion not just a collaboration software.

If you click on the queue it should give you a reason code. If it is all email that is being held, then either port 25 is blocked locally, at your ISP, or your ISP has changed their smart host. Without knowing whether the server is configured for a smart host, further advice isn't possible. While blacklisting is possible, that wouldn't affect all email, as the use of blacklists is still relatively small. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
