SBS 2003 - need to add an Exchange 2007 system to the domain
I have a client with SBS 2003R2 and a thirty user LAN. They also have about 60+ 'external employees' that need to have a centralized email solution, so my thought was to add an Exchange Server 2007 system to the LAN. I have reviewed some of the information but my experience over the past 5 years has been with SBS. Do I have to purchase Windows 2003 64bit and install it on a separate server and then put Exchange 2007 on it? Will the users all have the same domain name as the SBS box Exchange? Do I move ALL the Exchange users from SBS to the new server or can I purchase a 2007 Exchange server license with 60 user licenses and just load the external employees onto it? Thanks!
