SBS /EXCHANGE 2003 - TWO MAILBOXES HAVE STOPPED BEING ABLE TO RECEIVE EXTERNAL MAILS
Hi
I have an exchange server which POPs email from another external server. For some reason only two of my mailboxes on the POP server has stopped being able to receive external messages. They can send. Any ideas?

Hi,
You use pop3 connector to download emails form ISP mailbox or other external mailbox server, is that right?
Two mailbox now cannot receive emails but can send, is that right?
Anyhow, please use nslookup to check whether you domain name can be resolved to IP address for your Exchange Server(external mailbox server) from Internet. Detail steps you can refer to the below article:
Using NSlookup.exe

Then please try to telnet and test the smtp service manually. Please follow the below article: How To Test SMTP Services Manually in Windows Server 2003

Besides, please go through the steps listing in the below article to troubleshoot this issue:

If all the server side settings are right, then please ensure that the account with their password are correct. You may use message tracking to check which process that emails retain.
